LATHE GRINDERS

For External Grinding - 6" to 20" wheels - 1/2 to 10 HP
For Internal Grinding - 1-1/2" to 5" wheels - 1/2 to 5 HP
Standard and Special Units for mounting at any angle

These compact and rugged grinding units have been perfected for lathe grinding operations, but are used on shapers, planers, boring mills and other machines as well. Each unit is provided with a vertical dovetail slide and leadscrew to furnish vertical adjustment for positioning on center. Traverse and longitudinal feed is usually provided by the machine on which the unit is mounted. Accessory slides can be provided.

Sizes 107 and 100 with integral dovetail on spindle housing (upper)
Sizes 112 through 105 with interchangeable spindle design (lower)

Sizes 712 through 705 ... Wheel mount at both ends for roll or shaft grinding on lathe.
Transfer of the wheel permits grinding the full length of the workpiece where the tailstock would ordinarily interfere

Integral dovetail on spindle housing on Sizes 107 and 110
Electrics: 3 phase, 60 Hertz, 230/460 volts (specify operating voltage when ordering)
Wheel guard on external grinding spindles
Wheel rotation as seen from wheel end - counterclockwise
Toggle switch on Sizes 112, 101 and 104 only; no starters on larger sizes
